Thanksgiving on the Moors

We ended up sidelined by the weather on our travel plans so I had the perfect opportunity to wrap up a project.  This is probably the biggest knitting project I've ever tackled and I'm glad I saw it through.  It's just the right size and warm!

I think since I did the shawl up in white it's more appropriate to call this a Jane Rochester shawl.

  4. That's so beautiful! I'm working on a sweater but the pattern isn't nearly so intricate as that. Lovely work. :)

  6. That is divine! I would never have thought to knit it in white, but it looks stunning. I borrowed that book from the library recently and drooled over that pattern as well. Maybe one day!

  7. Beautifully made shawl. The white sets off the lacework very nicely.
