Signs of life is fabulous! I read it while the kids play int he tub. Just the right amount of shortness in a chapter. Soooo good.
Can't wait to get to it!
I read Dad is Fat this month and it was good but I'm also glad I borrowed it from the library because it's not exactly something I'd want to read again......I love Story of a Soul and Interior Castle though--and I'll probably have to read Interior Castle five more times before I really understand everything she's saying there! And you can never go wrong with a good old fashioned Jane Austen bender :)
Just finished Dad is Fat - I see what you mean, I think I'll send it off to a friend next, but no need to keep it around (it was funny though!)
I want to read Dad is Fat. I keep forgetting to check my library! It's been awhile since I've read a Jane Austen - I think I might need to revisit those. I'm also due for an Anne of Green Gables series reread... looks like my list is getting long already!
I've been feeling the AGG itch too, maybe this summer!
So many wonderful books here! I'm curious as to whether any of these are re-reads for you since several seem like ones you may have already read...Dad is Fat is on my list to listen to this year. Isn't Pope Awesome the best? Loved it! Also, Till We Have Faces is terrific. I read it in college, and then decided to base a whole project around it. Such a good one.
The Two Towers, P&P, S&S, Emma and Persuasion are the only rereads here. =)
I've also been interested in Dad is Fat. We love Jim Gaffigan around here. I'll be interested to hear what you think!
