I love this image of Mary leading a young Jesus and John the Baptist. So often she's relegated to the background with the only emphasis on her meek, humble, loving ways. I love an image showing her as a strong, direct woman. It would take a woman of considerable back bone to live the life she did.

I love this one because it captures an emotion I recognize all too well. That moment of wonder at what you hold in your arms, with just the smallest hint of concern - knowing what will be asked of this little person you hold in your arms and most of all knowing that there will be hurts you'll be powerless to heal. Every time I look at this one the expression on her face seems to change. Often it's a look of serenity and happiness. Right now, in this time of my life, there's just this little hint of sadness.
Like she's saying "How will I ever be able to let him go?"
Growing up the way I did it was too easy to forget that for all his grand importance, this was still her little baby boy.
This one is person. I found this picture at the Goodwill not very long ago and it hangs in a spot where I see it everyday. What speaks to me in this picture is that it feels like it captures a moment, one little moment of absolute peace free from any worry or concern of what's come and what will be asked of both of them. It's my reminder to cherish those little moments.
