    1. It's a play on Bilbo Baggin's quote from the Fellowship of the Ring - "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." A friend and I were coming up with "Hobbit" themed Valentine sayings and this was one (even though it's technically LOTR) we came up with.
